This picture is doubly relevant today, since the NCAA tournament brackets were announced last night and MSU is a number 5 seed. Go Green!
This is our small shrine to MSU that my State News friends and I made at our hotel in New Orleans. We were there for the CNBAM conference in 2005, when both the Michigan State Men's and Woman's teams were in the Final Four.

Maybe this will help Ryan understand why my purse is so stinking heavy all the time.
The picture isn't that great because I used my old digital camera. My new digital camera is, of course, the one in the picture.
Other things that make my bags heavy that are not pictured (because they are not 'gadgets') are: a book, 1 or 2 moleskins, an EPI pen, anywhere from 3 to 5 notebooks, a planner, painkiller, keys, and glasses.
This is why my shoulder hurts 95% of the time.

Last summer they accidentally got put in the wrong box during the week I moved home from college, unpacked, and repacked for New York. The goodwill box. I hope that they are making someone else as happy as they made me. And I'll always have the memories. The best shoes I've ever had, but more importantly - the best friends I'll ever have.

Right now I'm saving money for it, and trying to figure out if I want to buy a MacBook Pro or a Mac Pro. Since I'm now done with college and my computer (and my living arrangements) are more stationary, the idea of a desktop with much, much more power is very appealing. I want to be able to run the Creative Suite without everything slowing down to snail speed. Plus, as long as my Powerbook stays alive, I'll still have a laptop I can tote around if I so desire.
Have any of you fellow Voxers gone back to a desktop after having a laptop, and if so, did you regret it?
